Dr. Samuel D. Kang, DMD

A proud Chicago native, Dr. Samuel D. Kang, DMD, has dedicated his career to providing exceptional dental care with a strong focus on prosthodontics and implant dentistry. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago before advancing his expertise through a rigorous three-year residency in advanced prosthodontics at UIC. This specialized training equipped him with skills in esthetics, full-mouth reconstruction, digital dentistry, and implant dentistry. His passion for implants led him to complete an additional year as an Implant Fellow with the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, sponsored by Dentsply Sirona, where he not only refined his surgical techniques but also mentored students and residents on the prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry.

As a surgically trained prosthodontist, Dr. Kang is uniquely qualified to handle both the surgical and prosthetic components of implant dentistry, ensuring seamless, high-quality care for his patients. Committed to continuous learning, he actively participates in professional organizations such as the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. His dedication to advancing the field extends beyond clinical practice—he is a member of the Spear Dental Study Club and the International Team for Implantology and frequently shares his expertise as a speaker for the Straumann Group.

Outside the office, Dr. Kang enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their two daughters. The family loves exploring Chicago’s vibrant neighborhoods, discovering new activities, and making the most of their weekends with fun-filled adventures.
