Tom Ryan, DDS

Dr. Tom Ryan, DDS, has deep roots in Oak Forest, Illinois, where he grew up and attended St. Damian Grammar School before graduating from Oak Forest High School. He continued his education at Loyola University, earning both his bachelor’s degree and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors. His academic excellence led to his induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society that recognizes those who demonstrate exceptional scholarship and character in dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Ryan served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Neuroanatomy at Loyola, contributing to the education of future dental professionals.

As the founder of North Creek Dental Care, Dr. Ryan has built a practice that has proudly served Tinley Park and the surrounding Southland communities for decades. Recognized as Southland's Best Dental Office in 2024 and 2025, the practice reflects the values Dr. Ryan has championed throughout his career: clinical excellence, continuous learning, and genuine care for every patient.

Dedicated to continuous learning, Dr. Ryan has accumulated over 600 hours of advanced coursework to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry. He has served as a consultant for dental articles in the Chicago Sun-Times and the Southtown Star, and he is a Fellow in the Academy of Laser Dentistry. He has also been featured in an ABC News interview for his insights into the field. They take great pride in their three children: Rebecca, a music teacher in Schaumburg, IL; Steven, a graduate of Illinois State University with dual degrees in finance and insurance; and Colleen, who is a member of the North Creek Dental Care team. As a grandfather, Dr. Ryan cherishes every moment with his four grandchildren.
